Room For Doubt
September 8th - October 13
The atmosphere of many churches tends to suffocate the tough questions and denounce the doubts. Room For Doubt® wants to change that. We want to say that it’s okay to as
k tough questions, and even express doubts, about the Christian faith. At the same time, we want to offer compelling considerations for why anyone should believe that the message of
Christ is actually true—and do so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
SummitView Christian Church announces and invites everyone who has doubts and questions about their faith to come be a part of a special six week series called “Room for Doubt” running Sunday
, September 8 through October 13, on Sunday mornings, 10:30 a.m. at Poplar Creek Bowl, 2354 W. Higgins Rd. in Hoffman Estates. There will be several discussion groups that will dig deeper
that will be scheduled on various days throughout the week.
The Room for Doubt® series deals with the basic questions many people have about their faith. The series focuses on six critical questions about the Christian faith, and it facilitates candid conversations
among committed Christians and those who are not.
1. Is Doubt Always Bad?
2. Does God Really Exist?
3. Is the Bible Reliable?
4. Why Do Christians Say that Jesus is God’s Son?
5. Why Would God Allow Tragedy and Suffering?
6. Is It Intolerant to Say that Jesus is the Only Way?
